RAJOURI, JANUARY 12: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today convened a meeting with the concerned officers to finalise the arrangements regarding the upcoming public outreach camps in different areas of the district.

During the meeting the DDC informed that the upcoming public outreach camps would be chaired by the VVIPs and would involve interaction with the general public like the interactions recently held during Back to Village programme. He added that the main purpose of these camps is to listen to the grievances of the general public at their doorsteps so that they can be redressed in a better manner.

DDC said that these camps would be organised across remote and border areas of the district and the locations where these camps are to be conducted shall be identified soon.

DDC asked the officers to work with added zeal and in close coordination while making different arrangements for the successful conduct of the public outreach camps. ADCs and SDM Thanamandi have been asked to chalk out the strategy for different arrangement to be made in the areas of their respective jurisdiction and submit a final report within two days.

The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Yougal Manhas, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote Ram Krishan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma, Subdivisional Magistrate Thanamandi, Mohd Tanveer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue,Mohd Ashraf, Assistant Commissioner Development Sushil Khajuria,Deputy Director Planning Bilal Rashid Mir, ExEn PWD Rajouri, Mohd Zubair, ExEn PHE Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed, AD FCs&CA Mukhtar Ahmed, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Inzar Ahmed Rana and other District and Sectoral officers.
