SAMBA, DECEMBER 02: Deputy Commissioner Samba Rohit Khajuria today reviewed the progress of digitisation of revenue records and writing of Jamaband in a meeting with senior officers of the revenue department.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Gupta, SDM Vijaypur C P Kotwal, SDM Ghagwal, Ritu Mahajan besides tehsildars of the district were also present in the meeting.
DC was appraised that 91% of revenue documents has been scanned and 86% of quality check-out of scanned documents has been achieved. DC stressed upon that digitisation of records and scanning of documents should be given utmost importance and the targets assigned to them to be completed in a time bound manner.
He directed the tehsildars to ascertain the position of their respective tehsil digitisation of revenue records from modern record room and shall expedite the process of digitising remaining documents.
Later, he laid emphasis on completing the exercise of writing Jamabandis in the district. He directed the field staff of revenue department to put in extra efforts so that an error free Jamabandis are finalised.
