Journalists protest against 100 days of internet blockade

S. Sidartha Paramedical Training Institute, Sunjwan, Jammu

Srinagar, Nov 12: Working journalists had protested against snapping of internet connectivity for last 100 days which has badly affected their work in Kashmir.

The common people have been badly hit by the shutdown and journalists are worst sufferers as they find it difficult it to report without these facilities.

Carrying placards and holding latops in their hands, around two dozen journalists gathered in the premises of Kashmir Press Club to demand that the internet connectivity be restored to the journalists.

It said that we demand the internet which is a fundamental tool of journalism be restored. It is choking journalism here. It is a paid service and a not a freebie. It is a fundamental right and here it is being snatched from journalists.
