SRINAGAR, MAY 23: Justice Bawa Singh Walia was sworn-in as Judge of Jammu and Kashmir High Court today in a ceremony held in the High Court complex here.
Justice Walia was administered oath of office by Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar.
Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and Law & Justice Abdul Haq, Judges of the High Court, Commissioner Secretary Law, Mr Mohammad Ashraf Mir, former Judges, lawyers and other dignitaries attended the swearing-in ceremony.
The sanctioned strength of judges in Jammu and Kashmir High Court is 14, in which 9 are permanent judges and 5 are additional judges.
