SRINAGAR, May 17: The Group of Ministers (GoM) constituted for ensuring effective implementation of Coalition Government’s ‘Agenda of Alliance’ in Jammu and Kashmir, today met under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for R&B, Mr Abdul Rehman Veeri, Minister for Finance, Dr Haseeb Drabu, Minister for Forests and Ecology, Choudhary Lal Singh and Minister for Industries and Commerce, Mr Chander Parkash Ganga.
The GoM took stock of the progress of implementation of the ‘Agenda of Alliance’ and called for establishing a mechanism for ensuring its effective implementation and also framing the timeline for the same.
It was also decided that a detailed memo will be submitted to the State Cabinet and necessary steps would be taken for pursuing the its implementation with the concerned Union Ministries, wherever required.
