Mendhar, May 16: National Conference MLA from Mendhar, Javed Ahmed Rana today alleged state government for discriminating with his assembly segment for political gains as its being represent by an opposition party representative.
While addressing during a protest held in Mendhar by National Conference cadre, MLA Javed Rana said that state government is playing discriminatory role with Mendhar segment as this is being represent by opposition party MLA.
" Majority of our developmental works have been stalled by state government for its own political gains and people are made to suffer " Rana said while asking PDP-BJP coalition government to shun its discriminatory attitude with Mendhar.
He further said that all the major projects about Mendhar have been sidelined by government and people are facing numerous problems.
" We need special focus on education and health sector in Jammu and Kashmir and a MLA alone cannot do much things and government will have to pay concrete concern to this " Rana further said while asking people to act as one voice against the menace of corruption.
Later National Conference workers also carried out a protest rally at Mendhar market which culminated near SDM office and party cadre submitted a memorandum of different demands to SDM Mendhar.
