27,490 students appeared for JKCET

Srinagar, May 15:   As per reportsy 27,490 students appeared in Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test.

The Chairman of the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE), Ghulam Hassan Tantray, said the exam was held smoothly throughout the state.

“The exam was held smoothly at 34 centres in Srinagar and 20 centres in Jammu. The total number of students who had registered was 33,218 and out of that 27,490 appeared in the exam today while as 5,722 students were absent,” Tantry said.

From this year, the Common Entrance Test (CET) is being held for admission to various medical courses, except MBBS and BDS, in various colleges of J&K.
