RAJOURI, May 15:The people ad Congress workers held strong protest demonstration against the Coalition Govt of PDP BJP for shifting the location of proposed Medical college Rajouri to a place which is not appropriate and far from District Headquarter and National Highway
Strongly criticizing the move of the Govt to construct the proposed Medical College Rajouri at a place which is far away from the District HQ as it would deprive the most of the population of twin border districts of Poonch Rajouri from the Medical facilities.
The purpose of sanctioning the Government Medical College by the UPA Govt under the leadership of the then Union Health Minister Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad was to cater to the Health and Medical need of the remote and backward districts. The entire purpose would be defeated just for the political vested interests of few individuals by shifting the proposed location from the District HQ to a place which is far away from the District HQ as well as Rajouri Poonch National Highway.
Describing this move of the PDP BJP Govt as politically motivated the protesteors said that this would deprive the people right from Sunderbani to Poonch from availing medical facility in the proposed medical college and Hospital.
