SRINAGAR, May 09: Congress party, led by state president G A Mir protested in Srinagar to remind the chief minister Mehbooba Mufti of her election promises when she sought votes from the people in Kashmir to keep BJP away.
Mir “Mehbooba Mufti is bringing the same RSS and BJP in Kashmir, whereas, she sought votes to keep BJP and RSS away from Kashmir. Flood victims are yet to be compensated by the government. We had demanded Rs 44,000 crore as flood package from the centre. The present government has only distributed only Rs 25000 crore to the flood victims".
Mir in context to Sainik Colony issue said the party will not allow encroachment on Article 370 and dilute special status of the state
