SRINAGAR, MAY 8: Minister for Animal & Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Gani Kohli Sunday said that a mother is one who can take the place of all others but her place cannot be filled by any other in the world.
Minister was speaking on World Mother’s day function organized by Gujjar and Bakerwal Advisory Board at Government Girls Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel, Tulsi Bagh Srinagar.
The Minister highlighted the importance and role of mother in building and development of a child as a good human being
Kohli further said that our Prime Minister Narinder Modi is committed for the welfare of schedule caste community for the overall development of the country. Today Gujjar and Bakerwal community are mostly backward because they are not fully aware about the various government schemes launched for their welfare and upliftment.
Members of the Gujjar and Bakerwal Advisory Board also spoke about love and respect towards our mother.
Various cultural programmes were also presented by different groups of girls. The Minister distributed Rs.15000 among the winner group and Rs. 10000 to runners-up.
Among others Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Nazir Ahmad Baba, Chairman, Gujjar and Bakerwal Advisory Board, Mian Javed Ahmad, Vice Chairman, Choudary Zafar Ahmad, Secretary, Mukhtiar Ahmad Qari and other members of the Gujjar and Bakerwal Advisory Board were present on this occasion.
