JAMMU, May 04: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) employees held a massive protest on Tuesday in Jammu and warned to go on strike from May 5.
Large number of safaikaramcharies, drivers and clerical staff assembled in the premises of JMC and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
They demanded re-organization of the JMC, deployment of municipal employees in wards instead of parking lots, regularization of contractual drivers and issuance of DPC promotion orders of municipal employees of various cadres.
They warned if the demands are not redress, then we will go on strike from May 5
