Rajendra releases JKP technical training news letter, PPS magazine


JAMMU, APRIL 30: Appreciating the efforts of Police Training Institutions in the State for molding the police personnel in the modern technologies and skills of professional policing, Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar has said that the Police Training Institutions across the State have been brought on modern lines to instill the essence of discipline and dedication among the police personnel.

Mr. Rajendra was speaking at the function, organised by Police Technical Training Institute Vijaypur (PTTI) to release Training News Letter based on achievements of technical trainings at the campus today. He said sole objective of police training institutions is to improve the image of JKP among the people to inculcate a sense of responsibility among the trainees and realize them to work in an efficient and professional manner in performing the duties in the field.      

The DGP complimented the Principal, PTTI Vijaypur and his staff in imparting technical training to all technical wings of the Organization in different professional fields on modern technologies. He stressed upon the training instructors to give special thrust upon the trainees to improve police public relations and avoid human right violations, while performing professional duties and other important assignments in the field.

Mr. Rajendra also took stock of training facilities available in the institute for trainees besides analyzing the training being imparted. He has also discussed various issues pertaining to the improvement of training in the institute and sharpening of training skills to enhance their professional capabilities.

Earlier, the DGP also released the first edition of School Magazine of Police Public School Miran Sahib “UDHBHAV” at a simple function organized by the school management held in the school premises. He expressed pleasure over the release of Magazine, reflecting the achievements of the essence of the Institute and efforts made in pursuit of excellence. He appreciated the Principal and his staff for preparing the Magazine in a beautiful expression of thoughts of the students and staff.

Besides others, the functions were attended by ADsGP, Naveen Agarwal, Dilbag Singh and L. Mohanty, Chairperson PWWA, Mr. K. Vijaya, IsGP, HK Lohia,  M.A Khan, Yoginder Koul, SL Sharma, Danesh Rana and MA Ganai, DIG Jammu, AAWani, DDP, Parsotam Sharma, Principal PPS, Sanjiv Pradhan and other police officers.
