SRINAGAR, APRIL 25: Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department Dr. M. K. Bhandari, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Syed Abid, Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr. Samir Mattoo and Project Director J&K AIDS Control Society Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, visited Sub District Hospital Dooru and conducted detailed inspection of the hospital. The Secretary directed the Medical Superintendent to ensure that better medicare is provided to the people of the area and sufficient blood is kept available round the clock in the hospital.
While interacting with the local people, Mr. Bandhari said that construction work is going on Model Hospital and will be completed soon to provide better healthcare facilities to the people.
The Secretary also inspected the ongoing construction work of the institution and directed the concerned executing agency to expedite the pace of work for its early completion. He also directed the Director Health Services, Kashmir to ensure procurement and installation of required equipments on war footing so that the Hospital is made fully functional before its inauguration.
Mr. Bhandari also visited District Hospital Anantnag and directed the concerned to ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness in and around the hospital premises. He also instructed for immediate repairs of bathrooms.
