JAMMU, APRIL 15: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mr. Kavinder Gupta Friday dedicated an Eye Clinic to public, in the presence of MLA Jammu East, Mr. Rajesh Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said that every possible help would be given to the centre for its further development and upgradation.
Mr. Gupta congratulated the hospital administration for starting this facility and hoped that people would avail maximum benefits from this Eye Clinic
On the occasion, President Central Mahajan Sabha Jammu Mr. Vinod Gupta informed the Speaker about the functioning and activities of Eye Clinic besides he highlighted the achievements of the hospital. For establishing the Eye Clinic unit, he appreciated the efforts of hospital administration.
General Secretary, Chander Mohan Gupta, Dr Madan Gopal Gupta, staff of the hospital, besides large number of social workers and prominent citizens were also present on the occasion.
Later, the Speaker kick started the macadamization work of main road of Shastri Nagar being executed by Public Works Department (R&B).
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gupta said that the Government is spending Rs 43 crore for road projects in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
Mr Gupta said that this is the first time during last many years that the impact of the development works is visible on ground. He said that the main focus of the government is work on quality.
He asked the concerned authorities to complete all ongoing developmental works within a time bound manner.
Enroute, several deputations also met the Speaker and apprised him about their individual and collective problems faced by them. He assured to them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled on priority.
