 State BJP leaders hailed the Central Govt and BJP National leadership for sanctioning two AIIMS in  Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU,Aug 14:The meeting was chaired by Avinash Rai Khanna, National Vice president, MP & Incharge J&K in which BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, BJP National Secretary Farooq Khan, MLC Ashok Khajuria, BJP State General Secretaries Munish Sharma and Dr. Narinder Singh took part.BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma during the meeting apprised Avinash Rai Khanna about the present political scenario of J&K, functioning of PDP-BJP Coalition Govt and also discussed important issues.On the behalf of BJP core group, State BJP leaders hailed the Central Govt and BJP National leadership for sanctioning two AIIMS in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, Avinash Rai Khanna, while commenting over AIIMS in Jammu said, “Jammu has got AIIMS and the issue is now settled as per the aspirations of Jammu people.”“The things are very clear now, and no one, except a handful of people, have any doubt on what has been sanctioned for Jammu”, he said, adding, ‘BJP is committed to uphold the popular aspirations and two AIIMS should be established one in Jammu and other in Kashmir with equal facilities and share’.

He expressed gratitude to the Central Govt for sanctioning two AIIMS in Jammu and Kashmir keeping in view the popular aspiration of J&K and complemented the people of Jammu for getting such a prestigious institute.Khanna however, asked the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh to expedite the process for setting up AIIMS in Jammu and identify the land for the same at the earliest.On the issue of Refugees, Khanna said that Government of India is working and process is on to settle the issue of refugees judiciously.Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh discussed the functioning and achievements of PDP-BJP coalition Govt and said that in a short span, the coalition Govt has maintained a close rapport with the people of the state. He mentioned that number of initiatives have been taken by the Govt for the overall development and welfare of the people. “New Era of development, progress and prosperity has started with the formation of Coalition Govt in J&K and visible change could be seen in coming time.
