SRINAGAR, Mar 29: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon Tuesday convened a meeting to finalise market value rates of various types of lands in the valley.
The meeting was attended by Additional Inspector General Registration, Dr Shamim, Chief Town Planner, Iftikar Ahmad and Deputy Commissioner Stamps, Ulfat Jabeen.
After threadbare discussion Divisional Commissioner Kashmir approved the rate for urban plots, built up areas and agricultural lands after making and proposing certain amendments.
The rates will be effective from April 1st, 2016. The rates were prepared by various District Valuation Committees (DVCs).
