JAMMU, MARCH 24: Governor N.N. Vohra has expressed grief over the passing away of Pandit Shamboo Nath Sopori, veteran musician and father of Pandit Bhajan Sopori.
In a condolence message the Governor has conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Paying tribute to Pandit Sopori, the Governor recalled his contributions to enrichment of classical music and his efforts in introducing music at school and college level in J&K. He said that in his passing away the nation has lost an accomplished musician.
