JAMMU, Aug 11: Four to Six ADGP/IGP rank Police Officers are likely to be touched in upcoming reshuffle in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources told Cross Town News that IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar Birdi is likely to be relieved after 15th August , thus new IGP Kashmir to be posted , whereas Names of 2 IPS Officers are making the rounds.
Sources added that with one movement , it will lead to another and possibly upto 4 to 6 as some Officers are well past their tenures at present postings and some have to be moved early to fill up positions.
Vijay Birdi has been appointed as IG , CPRF , which is considered prestigious posting.
