RAMBAN, MARCH 22: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar, a team led by Tehsildar Ramban, Gurpreet Singh Ishar and comprising Naib Tehsildar Balihote, Snok Chand, EO Ramban, Zubeda Parveen, S.I, Nek Ram removed as many as 10 structures illegally erected on the Gool-Ramban road at Maitra today.
All such structures had been interrupting the vehicular movement and causing jamming and other unforeseen incidents.
Later Tehsildar also conducted surprise checking of the market and destroyed rotten commodities including vegetables and compounded Rs. 3200 from the wrongdoers.
He further impressed upon the local vendors and shop owners to refrain from illegal activities besides maintaining the practice of cleanliness on the road sides.
