SRINAGAR MARCH 10: According The Enforcement squad headed by Assistant Director Enforcement CA&PD Department conducted market checking of various areas of Srinagar city including Kani Kadal, Batmaloo, Pather Masjid, Kralpora, Shalimar, Nishat, Noorbagh, Safa Kadal, Hazratbal, Pinchi Mandi, Lal Chowk, Narwara, Lal Mandi, Hawal, Rainawari, Malarata, Tailbal, Central Jail,
Nagabal, Rangreth, Eidgah, Ali Kadal, Chattabal from March 1 to March 09 during which as many as 395 business establishments were inspected & a penal sum of Rs 50,000 has been collected as fine from 75 erring shopkeepers for violation of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
