Kavinder  directs concerned deptt to maintain infrastructure of Gandhi Nagar Hospital

JAMMU,Aug 11: Speaker State legislature and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta took meeting of the governing body of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti of Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar under his chairmanship here today.

The meeting was attended by Medical Superintendent & Vice-Chairman, Rogi Kalyan Samiti, Dr. younus Chowdhary; Superintendent Engineer, PDD, Sunil Gupta; X-En, PDD, Sudhir Gupta; X-En, PHE, V.K Khajuria; Vinay Gupta, Jaideep Sharma, Ruchi Chauhan, Ajay Pargal, Paramjeet Singh and other members of the Samiti.

Taking stock of the infrastructure available here and reviewing the functioning of the hospital, Gupta approved expenditure on power, water supply, Servicing of AC’s, up keep of the hospital, enhancement of wages of the temporary staff and also instructed to identify the space for Sarai for the attendants of the patients.

Gupta directed the concerned departments responsible for maintaining and bringing up new infrastructure in the hospital premises to give priority to the quality while executing the works in the hospital and also instructed the hospital authorities to fix priorities of the works required to be done.

Few decisions regarding the betterment of hospital have been taken in the meeting, which are like inviting the tenders for the canteen, parking and medical shop , ornamental plants and flowers to be planted in the hospital premises to give a fresh feel, corporate houses to be involved in the up keep of the hospital as a social responsibility which will in turn give tax redemption to these particular houses and annual maintenance of the machines to be done on priority or they can also be operated on PPP mode.

Gupta assured the members of the Samiti that he will not leave any stone unturned to equip this institution with modern facilities and also invited their contribution in making this institution a model one for others to follow.
