J&K NCC Cadet selected to join army as commissioned officer


 

 

JAMMU, Feb 23:  J&K NCC Cadet Javeed Ahmad Parrey of village Hajin Sonawari, District Bandipora has made the entire Kashmir valley proud by being selected to become army officer.

As per the official handout issued by the NCC Directorate, Javeed is all set to undergo training to become a commissioned officer in Indian Army for the 39th course of NCC Special entry scheme for OTA Chennai.

Javeed is the son of Abdul Rasheed Parrey who is a daily wage earner. By his achievement Javeed has not only made a firm career for himself but also done his parents proud.  The cadet has made his way to this success by undergoing three years of NCC training in the 1 J&K Naval Unit  NCC, Srinagar and qualifying for ‘B’ &’C’ Certification under NCC Group Headquarters Srinagar which has played a pivotal role in guiding and coaching of this cadet.

The Group Commander has expressed his gratitude towards the CHINAR CORPS for being instrumental in providing SSB coaching to the cadet at BB Cantt. and stated that this particular success will make the NCC more popular among youth of Kashmir valley and more number of students will come forward to join NCC in the future.
