SRINAGAR, Feb 19: To ensure punctuality and work culture in government offices, various checking squads constituted by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir made surprise visit of Directorates of Rural Development Kashmir, Command Area, Agriculture , Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Chief Conservator Forests and various other offices here today.
During the surprise checks, various officials were found on un-authorised absence and action as warranted has been initiated against them.
The Divisional Commissioner has already directed Heads of Departments stationed at Srinagar to submit daily consolidated attendance reports to his office.
The teams gave necessary instruction regarding maintaining punctuality and asked the officials and field staff to redress the grievances of the people in a time bound manner
