NEW DELHI, Mar 27: There is no proposal for scrapping Article 370, that provides special status to Jammu and Kashmir,.
There is no such proposal under the government's consideration, the Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.
Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir while replying to a written question from BJP MP Ashwini Kumar said "There is currently no such proposal under consideration of the government,".
BJP MP Ashwini Kumar had asked whether the government was committed to scrapping Article 370 of the Constitution.
There has been lot said on Article 370 , sicne the time BJP government came into power in Centre.
