JAMMU, Feb 11: Senior leaders of RSS and BJP on Wednesday met in Delhi to discuss on government formation in J&K and the achievements of 10 months of government.
Sources told Cross Town News that most of the leaders present in the meeting favored Coalition government with PDP but there were few who wanted to form government but not at the cost of conceding too many demands which may affect party’s core vote bank in Jammu region.
Sources told that BJP National General Secretary, Ram Madhav would visit Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar on February 15th to take government formation talks further .
Sources told that BJP is ready to offer a better financial package for the state, Mehbooba has demanded that more financial aid from the centre must reach the state. Sources also told Cross Town News that Mehbooba could meet Amit Shah in coming week after her meeting with Ram Madhav.
As per reports the meeting was held at RSS headquarter in New Delhi was held under the chairmanship of Krishna Gopal, RSS Sah-Sakaryavah and was attended by Senior RSS and BJP leaders Ramesh Papa, Brig Suchet Singh, Purushottam Dadhichi, Ram Madhav, , Avinash Khanna, Dr Jitendra Singh, Ashok Koul, Nirmal Singh and Sat Sharma.
