JAMMU, Feb 09: BJP has set a time limit for the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on government formation in Jammu & Kashmir, Sources told Cross Town News that BJP has given a time frame till Parliamentary session, which begins on 23rd February.
Sources told Cross Town News that BJP President Amit Shah on Tuesday has asked Senior BJP leader Ram Madhav to personally talk on government formation in J&K with PDP President Mehbooba Mufti.
Mehbooba Mufti has given statement few a times that she will only form government with BJP once she receives assurances from centre on some of the matters focused on confidence building measures.
The whole development comes in backdrop of pressure from various segments over delay in government formation in J&K where opposition NC and Congress have lamented PDP-BJP in delay in government formation and have asked them to either form government or be bold enough to face elections.
