R.S.Pura, Feb 19: A body of 17-year-old Abhay Mahajan, son of Anil Mahajan, a resident of Ward Number 1, RS Pura wrapped in a gunny bag, was recovered from a field at Kotligala Bana village.
He said the parents of the boy had lodged a complaint with the RS Police Station stating that their son was missing since February 17.
Police launched a hunt to trace him after registering a case of kidnapping and recovered his body which bore injury marks inflicted from a sharp-edged weapon.
Reportedly, seven persons were rounded up for questioning in connection with the murder and further investigation was on.
A case under under Section 363 and 302 RPC stands registered at RS Pura Police Station and further investigation into the case is going on.
