Full dress rehearsal for R-Day celebration held across Jammu & Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Jan 24:Full dress rehearsals were held today at the district headquarters of  Jammu & Kashmir  in connection with the 67th Republic Day celebrations.

 

 

The full dress rehearsal was held at Maulana Azad Stadium which was witnessed by Director General of J&K Police K. Rajendra, GOC Tiger Division, Major General, Sanjeev Naraian, Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Deputy Commissioner, Simrandeep Singh besides other senior functionaries of army, police and civil administration were present on the occasion.

For the first time, the Air Force would be conducting acrobatic unmanned aerial vehicle show during this year’s Republic Day celebration which will be one of the main attractions of the programme for all to witness this unique and fascinating event.

Contingents drawn from JKAP, JKP, CRPF, IRP, SDRF, Fire & Emergency Services, Ex- Servicemen, J&K Forest Protection Force NCC cadets, government and private schools and others participated in the march past.

 

At Srinagar, the event was held at Bakshi stadium Srinagar in which District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone was the chief guest who inspected the march past presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, BSF,Auxiliary Police, ITBP, Women Police, State Disaster Response Force, Fire and Emergency Services and Forest Protection Force, besides students from various educational institutions.

Among others, IGP Kashmir, SJM Gillani, IGP, JKP (Armed), Sunil Kumar, Joint Director, Information, Kashmir, Shafqat Iqbal and other senior officers of police, paramilitary forces and civil administration were present on the occasion.

          A variety of colourful cultural programmes was also presented by the artists and students in collaboration with departments of Information, School Education, Youth Services & Sports and Academy of Cultural, Art and Languages.

 

 

          At Kathua, full dress rehearsal was conducted at District Sports Stadium Kathua in which Additional District Development Commissioner, Dr Manmohan Singh hoisted the National Flag.

          ADDC Kathua took salute from the march past comprising contingents from CRPF, District Police, Police Training School, forest protection force, NCC boys and platoons of boys and girls from different government as well as private educational institutions.

          A colorful culture programme was also presented on the occasion by the students

Similarly, a full dress rehearsal  was held at tehsil Billawar at Government Higher Secondary School where SDM R.S Charak took salute at the march past.

          At Udhampur, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana took salute at an impressive march past presented by the 41 contingents drawn from CRPF, Police, Forest Protection Force, NCC, Educational Institutions besides Police Band, took part in a full dress rehearsal held at Govt. PG Degree College (Boys), Udhampur

           Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajeev Magotra, ACD Joginder Singh Rai, PO DRDA Dr J C Mehra, CEO Bishan Singh, CMO Dr Chander Prakash, Tehsildar Udhampur Sapna Kotwal and officers of CRPF, Police and other departments were present to witness the full dress rehearsal.

          Different cultural items prepared by various schools depicting National patriotism were also displayed during the full dress rehearsal.

At Poonch, the function was held at Sports Stadium Poonch amid tight security arrangements.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Shafiq Ahmed Choudhary, hoisted the National Flag and inspected the march-past presented by the contingents comprising JKAP, JKP, CRPF, NCC cadets and schools children.

A scintillating cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, folk dances and music was presented by students of various schools as part of the full-dress rehearsal.

Later, Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Harun Malik and Senior Superintendent of Police, J S Johar interacted with contingents and students and appreciated their preparations for the event.

At Samba, a vibrant and colourful  full dress rehearsal was held at Arazi Stadium, Samba.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Sharma hoisted the tricolour and took salute at the march past presented by the contingents drawn from District Police, Ex- Servicemen, NCC and schools participated in the march past.

Students from various government and private schools presented cultural programme on the occasion.

At Kishtwar, the full dress rehearsal was held in the parade ground Kishtwar.

Additional Deputy commissioner Kishtwar , Kishori Lal  after inspection of the parade took salute at the march past presented by the contingents drawn from the CRPF, CISF,  JKP,JKAP, Forest protection force, NCC and school children .

SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Wazir besides other senior officers of district administration were present on the occasion.

At Doda, the function was held in the sports stadium Doda where Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohd Hanief Malik  after inspection of the parade took salute at the march past by the contingents drawn from the  J&K Police,   IR,5th Bn, CRPF 76 Bn,NCC, FPF and school children .

Similarly, full dress rehearsal was held at Bhaderwah where SDM Bhaderwah Mohd Anwar Banday took salute at the march past presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP and school children.

At Ramban, the full dress rehearsal was held at the District Police Line amid adequate security where Additional Deputy Commissioner, Babu Ram hoisted the National flag and inspected the march past.

SSP Ramban, Randeep Kumar, SP, ACR, Vevaik Puri Deputy CEO, DIO, Tehsildar Ramban and various officers of other departments were also present on the occasion.

The  contingents of JKP, CRPF, IRP, J&K Forest Protection Force, NCC cadets, schools and others participated in the march past. Besides., the school children presented scintillating and colourful cultural programmes including traditional folk songs.

          At Rajouri , Additional District Development Commissioner  Avtar  Singh Chib  took the salute at the march past presented by the contingents of  J&K Police,  Forest Protection force , NCC and various educational institutions during the full dress rehearsal function held at district Police Line , Rajouri .

Students presented scintillating cultural programmes based on patriotic themes and important social issues.

          Additional   Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, Mumtaz Choudhary, Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), Paramjeet Singh , CEO , Altaf Choudhary, ASP, Tejinder Singh besides other  officers were present on the occasion.

At Reasi,  the rehearsal was held at  Mini Sports Stadium Reasi where Additional Deputy Commissioner Shiv Kumar Gupta took the salute at the march past presented by contingents of CRPF, IRP, J&K Police, STC Talwara, NCC and various educational institutions .

Students presented scintillating cultural programmes based on patriotic themes and important social issues.

          Officers from civil administration, police and army besides others were present on the occasion

 

          At Baramulla, a colourful dress rehearsal was conducted at District Police Lines, Baramulla.

 Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Bashir Ahmad Khan unfurled the national flag and inspected the march past presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Fire and Emergency Services, NCC and school children.

Cultural programmes were also presented on the occasion.

          The Cultural programmes depicting rich tradition of the state were presented by the students from Higher Secondary School Dangiwacha, Sanctorum Public School, Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla.

          At Anantnag, the function was held at Government Degree College Boys, Anantnag in which Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag Mohammad Younis unfurled the national flag and inspected the march past presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented.

          At Budgam, full dress rehearsal was held at Sports Stadium, Budgam where Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam Manzoor Ahmad Qaudri unfurled the national flag and inspected the march past presented by JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Fire & Emergency Services, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented during the program.

          At Kupwara, full dress rehearsal was held at District Police Lines, Kupwara in which Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr A Hafeez Shah, was chief guest who inspected the march past presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented.

At Pulwama, full dress rehearsal was held at District Police Lines, Pulwama.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama Shahbaz Mirza unfurled the National flag and inspected the parade presented by JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Fire & Emergency Services, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented.

          At Shopian, the event was organised at Sports Stadium, Shopian where Chief Planning Officer, Shopian Imityaz Ahmad unfurled the tricolour and inspected the parade presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Fire and Emergency Services, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented.

          At Kulgam, full dress rehearsal was held at Government Degree College Boys, Kulgam in which Additional District Development Commissioner, hoisted the tricolour and took salute at the march past presented by JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Fire and Emergency Services, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented.

          At Bandipora, full dress rehearsal was held at S.K. Sports Stadium, Bandipora. The Additional Deputy Commissioner Khursheed Ahmad Sanayee, Bandipora inspected the parade and took salute on the march past presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, IRP, CRPF, NCC and the school children.

            Variety programmes to be presented on the Republic Day celebrations 2015 were also presented.

          At Ganderbal, the function was held at Madri Meharban Stadium, Ganderbal where Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari unfurled the tricolour and inspected the parade presented by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Fire and Emergency Services, NCC and school children. Cultural programmes were also presented on the occasion.

          Officers from civil administration, police, army and senior citizens were present during these full dress rehearsals.
