JAMMU, Jan 23: In what could be terned a shameful act in Jammu , a new born female baby was abandoned by her mother in labour room of SMGS Hospital.According to the reports, a lady has been identified as Lalita wife of Madan Lal of Reasi, gave birth to a healthy female baby in labour room on Thursday night. The lady left her new born baby in the labour room by giving slip to the staff members of the hospital.
Medical Superintendent, SMGS said “We have informed the police and they are trying to trace the lady and her whereabouts. Police has been contacted and they are doing investigation”.
