JAMMU, Jan 19: Government on Monday ordered promotion of 8 IAS officers.According to the order, the sanction has been accorded to the promotion of Shantmanu, to the Higher Administrative Grade with effect from January 1, 2016. Consequent upon his promotion to the Higher Administrative Grade, Shantmanu will be designated as Chief Electoral Officer, J&K/Principal Secretary to the Government, Election Department.
Vineeta Gupta and Shahid Anayatullah, Commissioner Survey and Land Records and Ex-Offico Settlement Commissioner J&K have been promoted to the Super Time Scale with effect from January 1, 2016.
Ajeet Kumar Sahu, CEO, SMVDU has been promoted to the Selection Grade with effect from January 1, 2016, while Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Ravinder Kumar, Piyush Singla and Mohammad Aijaz have been promoted to the Senior Time Scale with effect from January 1, 2016. The annual increments in favour of Ravinder Kumar and Piyush Singla will be released only after they qualify the departmental examination.
