KATHUA, Jan 11: In order to prevent annoyance to the general public and disturbance of public tranquility, Additional District Magistrate Kathua Atul Gupta in exercise of the powers vested in him under section 144 of Cr.PC ordered that 300 meters area around the Mata Vaishno Mandir Langerial ( Dayala Chack) Hiranagar will be dry area and drinking of alcohol (expect in the bar room of tourist Dak Banglow, Dayala Chack eating meat, use of tobacco and narcotic drugs and performing of funeral rites except in cremation ground) is totally prohibited. Parking of the vehicles on Mandir side or in its way is also prohibited.
Anybody violating this order shall be prosecuted under section 188 of the Ranbir Penal Code. The order shall remain for a period of two months from the date of issuance i.e 11th January, 2016.
