IGP Traffic J&K, takes stock of its Men, Machinery of Traffic Police City Jammu.


 

 

Jammu 16 Dec: IGP Traffic J&K, Sh Jagjit Kumar IPS, in the wee hours today on 16 Dec took stock of all its men and machinery in the Darbar held at Traffic Police office City Jammu to griddle up to meet the emerging challenges faced in the management of Traffic in Jammu City.

 

SSP Traffic Jammu City Mrs Nisha Nathyal briefed the IGP about the Traffic situation in the Jammu City.

 

IGP Traffic appreciated Traffic Police City Jammu for their excellent job after opening the Darbar in Jammu.

 

IGP Traffic reiterated his commitment in light of the expectations of the Govt. and General public to streamline Traffic and stressed upon his men in blue to exhibit high sense of responsibility and duty while regulating Traffic and also to foster public Police relationship with maximum focus on Traffic Regulation strictly as per the interaction injected in the Darbar.

IGP Traffic further emphasized to bring uniformity in a management of Traffic by making all commuters including Govt., Police on a plane of discipline and order in the interest of all commuters with zero tolerance against lapses committed.

 

"A major contribution to the Road Traffic Accidents, as per the data for the last few years is from Two Wheelers," IGP Said and further added Education of the Road users plays a significant role in reducing traffic accidents.

 

Besides SSP Traffic City Jammu Mrs Nisha Nathyal, ASP Traffic Sh Prabhu Dayal Sharma, DySP's Traffic S.Daljeet Singh, Mrs Ranu Kundal and All DTI's of Traffic Police City Jammu participated.
