JAMMU, Jan 08: Vice Chairman, Udhampur Sports Council, Member Transport Advisory Committee & Editor of Cross Town News , Rahil Gupta has expressed heartfelt grief on the sad demise of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Rahil said, being president of the Sports Council, Mufti was instrumental in taking major policy decisions for the overall growth of the sports in Jammu & Kashmir and in establishment of new sports infrastructure in the State. He said few days before Mufti fell ill on 22nd December he made a visit to KK Hakku sand MA stadium in Jammu to see progress of works undertaken.
/Rahil Gupta further said Mufti has played a historic role in political circles of the state and the country. He said Mufti Sayeed was known for his political acumen, Statesmanship and he was leader of the masses.
Gupta prayed for courage to the family to bear the irreparable loss and for eternal peace to the departed soul.
