SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Kashmir Valley is under envisage of intense cold with Chillai Kalan the 40-day period of extreme cold started this week.
The minimum temperature was minus 3.2 degree in Srinagar today and minus 5.7 in Gulmarg. whereas the minimum temperatures were minus 10.1 and minus 9.0 respectively in Leh and Kargil towns of Ladakh region.
The minimum temperature was 5.0 degree Celsius in Jammu city.
