Poonch, September 09. A meeting of revenue officers / officials was held today in Poonch to review the the present status of scanning , quality checking and updation of revenue records in Tehsil Haveli. Regional Director Survey and Land Records Pir Panjal who was chairing the meeting stressed upon the revenue officials to give top priority to the job of up dating of revenue record prerequisite for settlement process and modernization of land records. He also advised them to be very careful while quality checking of the scanned records is being done .
Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch also highlighted the need of compilation and updation of records as per the targets already assigned to each Naib Tehsildar, Girdawar and Patwari.
Earlier Tehsildar Haveli gave a brief account about the performance of each patwari regarding record updation and details of revenue records scanned and quality checking done
