JAMMU, Dec 01: made amendment vide Govt. Order No: 1996-GAD of 2015 Da t e d: 1.12.2015, which reads as under:-
In partial modification of the Government order No. 10-GAD of 2004, dated 6-1-2004, it is hereby ordered that Rule 5, 7 and 12 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Secretariat Lower Grade Employees Welfare Rules, 2004, shall be substituted by the following:- The members shall subscribe towards the fund an amount of Rs. 501- per month. The deduction will be made from the pay bills every month by the concerned Drawing & Disbursing Officer and shall be credited into the CD Account No. 0110010200000843 in the Moving Branch of J&K Bank, Civil Secretariat.
Rule-7: The affairs of the welfare fund shall be controlled by a Management Committee comprising the following:- to the Government, General Administration Dept. (Establishment). Civil Secretariat Lower 1 Employees Union. Treasurer I Financial Advisor Chief Accounts Officer, GAD. Member I Under Secretary (Adm), General Administration Secretary Members . . Department 1.Vice President, 2. Treasurer, No part of the fund shall be invested in stock or securities. All donations/contributions to the fund shall be credited into the CD account as mentioned in Rule 5 of the J&K Lower Grade Employees Welfare Rules, 2004 and shall be utilized for the objectives as laid down in Rule-2 of the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Secretariat Lower Grade Employees Welfare Rules, 2004. It is further ordered that the amount under Major Head 8121-General and Other Resources Fund, Minor Head 117- J&K State Employees Welfare Fund, as on date, on account of contribution made by the members shall be transferred to the CD Account indicated in Rule 5 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Secretariat Lower Grade Employees Welfare Rules, 2004.
