Samba,Oct 25: JKPCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra today said that Congress entered into pre poll alliance with NC for a larger cause to keep BJP out of power in J&K. Addressing a gathering at Vijaypur in the honour of newly appointed Chairman of JKPCC Vichar Vibagh Shri Yash Pal Kundal, Shri Karra said that Congress was aware of the electoral machinations and tactics of BJP ,which have come out open now regarding vote chori through a compromised CEC, so it entered into pre poll alliance against the feelings of party workers .
Congress has always sacrificed it's party intrests in the larger intrests of Nation as BJP's policies are detrimental to the secular and pluralistic character of our country.
Shri Karra said that Several elections to state assemblies in the country post 2019 were managed and rigged by the BJP through different modes and illegal tactics but people weren't aware of this until Rahul Gandhi exposed it before the nation by deep investigations.Now every right thinking person is convinced about the highjacking of electoral system by the ruling BJP through misuse of election machinery and are protesting to save democracy.
He said that BJP divided and downgraded the historical state into UT, which resulted into loot of our land,jobs and natural resources through their crony capitalists, which were secured by Maharaja HariSinghji.Congress has been fighting for restoration of statehood to secure the dignity, status, rights and identity of people of J&K but BJP's legislators have compromised the intrests of people of Jammu who elected them.
Karra also felicitated Jung Bhadur Sharma for induction in Training department of J&K PCC. Shri Tariq Hameed Karra appreciated Miss Aadya Yashtri, the minor daughter of Shri Kundal who presented two books to PCC Chief written by her.
Karra said that this speaks of her guidance and intellect at a very young age. Working President Shri Raman Bhalla, Ex MP Ch Lal Singh, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Ex MLAs Indu Pawar, Durga Dass, Th Hari Singh Chib, District President Jammu Rural Neeraj kundan, President Samda Sanjeev Sharma ,Babbal Gupta, KD Singh, Sanjeev Panda, Jatin Raina Ajay Lakhotra ,Bawa Chaudhary, Tirth Ram Bhagat, Jung Bhadur Sharma, Sonu Dogra,Kuber Singh, adv Satish Dutta, Dinesh Singh Darshan Lal Suresh Kumar, Pratap Singh Tanveer Singh, Janak Raj Bhagat besides several other block Presidents and local leaders also spoke and attended the function. Raman Bhalla termed BJP as power hungry party & destroying the electoral system in the country in order to retain power .
He said that BJP has insulted Maharaja Hari Singh by dividing and downgrading his state and depriving people of their legitimate rights to land,jobs and natural resources.
