Malerkotla, October 20: Malerkotla Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh has suspended Jodepul police outpost in-charge Assistant Sub-Inspector Gurjant Singh and ASI Bhinder Singh with immediate effect for alleged dereliction of duty.
SSP said negligence in duty would not be tolerated under any circumstances in the Malerkotla district police.
He directed all police officers and personnel to perform their duties with complete honesty and responsibility.
He added that strict departmental action would continue against officials found negligent in the performance of their duties.
