Pulwama, August 09: Intense clashes erupted in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Wednesday as a gunfight raged in Gulab Bagh village of Tral township.
Reports said that youth took to streets near the site of gunfight in Gulab Bagh and other villages of the district after the news of death of three militants spread.
Forces resorted to teargas shelling to disperse the protesters in Tral and other Pulwama areas.
Internet and cellular services have been suspended in the district following the killing of three militants reportedly belonging to Hizb Ul Mujahideen.
