New Delhi, Sep 21: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has accepted the Voluntary Retirement Scheme applications of two Assistant Commissioners belonging to the Indian Revenue Service.
The two officers are R. Shivakumar and Rajesh Dhawan.
At the time of the VRS decision, Shivakumar was associated with the Chennai Customs Zone, while Dhawan was serving under the Chandigarh GST & Central Excise Zone.
heir exit through voluntary retirement comes while both officers were serving as Assistant Commissioners in different operational and administrative roles within the CBIC’s field formations.
