Srinagar, Sep 18: DIG Armed Kashmir Maqsood-Ul-Zaman has granted in-situ promotions to 98 police personnel of different ranks in Armed Range Kashmir in recognition of their dedicated service and commitment.
The promotion cases of eligible officials were examined in accordance with prescribed rules, regulations and eligibility criteria, following which 98 personnel, including 67 Head Constables and 31 Selection Grade Constables, were found fit for promotion to their respective higher grades.
The initiative aims to support career progression, professional recognition and motivation of police personnel who have rendered sustained service.
Congratulating the promoted personnel and their families, the DIG appreciated their hard work, discipline, professionalism and commitment to duty.
He said the promotions bring greater responsibility and higher professional expectations, and urged the personnel to continue discharging their duties with dedication, integrity and discipline.
