LG Ladakh announce that the Ladakh has taken a major step towards modernizing law enforcement and tourist safety by inaugurating four new initiatives of the Ladakh Police:
1.Jullay 2.0 Tourist Assistance App – Providing Real-time safety alerts, weather updates, road conditions, live notification, reporting of incidents, online police complaint, and emergency support to tourists and residents.
2.Launch of 20 e-Challan Devices – Digitizing traffic enforcement for transparency and road safety.
3.Five Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Beats – Providing GPS-enabled, rapid emergency response.
4.Tourist Facilitation Centres – for on-ground assistance at remote locations like North Pulu and Serchu. These measures reflect our steadfast commitment to responsive, transparent, and people-centric policing tailored to Ladakh’s unique geographical terrain.
By combining technology, infrastructure, and trained manpower, we are ensuring a safer environment for our citizens and visitors alike.
