Rakesh Dubey, JKAS, Assumes Charge as CEO, Patnitop Development Authority; Reviews Tourism Development Initiatives.
Soon after assuming charge as the Chief Executive Officer of the Patnitop Development Authority, Rakesh convened a meeting with all officers and employees of the Authority.
The CEO called upon the employees to work with sincerity, dedication and commitment towards the overall development of the tourist destinations under the Authority.
He emphasized that through collective efforts and innovative planning, Patnitop and its surrounding destinations should be developed and prominently placed on the world tourism map.
During the meeting, Rakesh Dubey undertook a comprehensive review of various components of tourism development and ongoing developmental initiatives.
Detailed deliberations were held on improving tourism infrastructure, enhancing visitor experience and accelerating important projects.
Special emphasis was laid on the early completion and operationalization of the Sanasar Golf Course, which is expected to emerge as a major attraction and give a significant boost to high-value and experiential tourism in the region.
The CEO also emphasized the need to preserve the pristine natural environment of Patnitop and directed that sustained efforts be made towards making the tourist destination polythene-free.
He called upon all stakeholders to contribute towards cleanliness, environmental protection and sustainable tourism.
Expressing confidence in the capabilities of the Authority’s officers and employees, Rakesh said that with sincerity, teamwork and a focused approach, the Patnitop Development Authority can transform the region into one of India’s leading mountain tourism destinations.
