Jammu/Hubballi, September 5, 2026: Dr Mubashar Mashqoor Mir, Founder & Chief Consultant of Cosmoweave Skin, Laser & Hair Transplant Centre, Jammu, has been conferred the Fellowship of the IMA Academy of Medical Specialities (FIAMS), the specialist academic wing of the Indian Medical Association.
The fellowship was awarded at the IMA-AMS National Convocation at Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute, Hubballi, during AMSCON 2026. Dr Mir is among the relatively few dermatologists from J&K to receive the distinction.
He is MBBS, MD (DVL), DNB (Dermatology), MNAMS, FIAMS and a Life Member of IMA-AMS. He previously served as Assistant Professor and In-charge HOD, Dermatology, GMC Udhampur. His work focuses on lasers, acne-scar surgery, FUE hair restoration, pigmentary disorders and aesthetic dermatology.
His academic profile includes 22 publications, two authored dermatology books and chapters in three IADVL textbooks.
