𝗦𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 31, 2026: Nitish Kumar, IPS, a 1999-batch officer, has assumed charge as the Additional Director General of Police, Armed Police, Jammu and Kashmir.
Soon after assuming charge, Nitish Kumar met senior officers at the Armed Police Headquarters and reviewed the functioning of the Armed Wing.
The meeting focused on key operational, administrative and organisational matters.
The newly appointed ADG also stressed the need for professionalism, better coordination and a strong sense of commitment while carrying out responsibilities.
Welfare of Police Personnel will be the one of the main priorities of Armed Police under leadership.
Senior officers at the Armed Police Headquarters welcomed Nitish Kumar and assured him of their full cooperation and commitment towards ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Armed Wing.
