Govt to build assets for future generations in J&K : Revenue Minister


 

SRINAGAR, Nov 27: Asserting that there will be no compromise on quality, Minister for Revenue, Javid Mustafa Mir today said that the coalition government will build assets that will be cherished by future generations of Jammu and Kashmir. 

          The Minister in a meeting with senior officers of Health Department reviewed the status of functioning of health institutions in Chadooora constituency.

          Mr. Mir said there will be no compromise on the quality of healthcare under the coalition government and the best healthcare will be provided to patients.

          "Our government is going to build reliable assets that will be cherished by our future generations as well. For this reason government is giving priority to quality analytical equipment so that the results of scientific investigations done on patients are flawless, diagnosis becomes easy and patient care doesn't suffer," he said in the meeting.

          The Minister said there will be a major improvement in the healthcare sector under the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led coalition government with two AIIMS coming up in Kashmir and Jammu.

           Mr. Mir assured the officers that the augmentation of infrastructure in the health department is a priority for the state government.

          Chief Medical Officers of Budgam and Srinagar, Dr Mohammad Afzal Dar and Dr Nazir Ahmad,  besides Block Medical Officers and other concerned attended the meeting.
