SRINAGAR, Aug 27: Gazanfar Ali, former Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and senior JKAS officer, passed away on Thursday.
Gazanfar Ali breathed his last this afternoon after a brief illness.
A seasoned administrator, Ali held several key positions during his service career, including Commissioner of SMC, where he was appreciated for his efforts to streamline civic services and improve urban governance in Srinagar.
He also served as Additional Deputy Commissioner and held various other positions in the J&K administration.
