Srinagar, Aug 27: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary said on Thursday that the Congress is expected to join the National Conference-led government soon.
Choudhary said the National Conference had wanted Congress to become part of the government since the alliance was formed, but that the final decision had rested with the Congress.
Surinder said “As far as Congress is concerned, ever since this government was formed, when we entered into the alliance, it was our desire and we wanted Congress to join.Now Congress is taking a decision, and I think everyone should be happy because it is an alliance partner.”
