JAMMU, Aug 24: DIG IR Range Jammu, Nisha Nathyal, today visited the newly established headquarters of 1 JKAP Women Battalion at Pargalta (Bajalta), Jammu, following its shifting from the temporary location at APC, Channi Himmat.
During the visit, the DIG inspected the headquarters premises and reviewed facilities including ladies' hostels, water supply, mess, CCTV surveillance and security arrangements. She also took stock of the infrastructure and administrative arrangements made for the smooth functioning of the battalion.
Commandant 1 JKAP Women Battalion R C Kotwal, along with other officers and officials, welcomed the visiting officer and briefed her about the arrangements at the new headquarters.
Nathyal also interacted with the personnel and urged them to maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty.
