Srinagar, Aug 21: The Commissioner Secretary to the School Education Department after being warned by the High Court to jail in case of non compliance immediately woke up complied with the judgment within 2 days after the issuance of Court Orders following which High Court dropped contempt proceedings against him.
The Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Kumar and Justice Mohd Yousuf Wani also discharged the Commissioner/Secretary from the contempt proceedings after he complied with the court directions.
It is to mention here that the court on August 18 had warned the Commissioner/Secretary for imprisonment in case the judgment passed one and half a year ago is not implemented by the next date of hearing i.e August 21.
